"A Mexican restaurant inside an ARCO AM/PM that was shut down after a May 14 health inspection that found extensive contamination and poor sanitation: cooked carrots covered in mold, expired hominy, chorizo and ham, about a dozen types of food (including carnitas, chorizo, ham, sausage, broth, salsa, queso, pozole, raw beef, al pastor, raw chicken, fish, and beans) had to be thrown out, fryer baskets with built-up grease and old food, an unclean steam table and cook line, a food handler washing dishes over clean equipment, and unwashed avocado mixed with cut onions. The facility reopened the next day with a zero-demerit A grade after corrective action." - Susan Stapleton
