"This little sandwich counter in what I guess we’re calling Phinneywood has a line literally out the door, and while the hype is a bit mysterious—there’s nothing super new or gimmicky and Seattle is awash in Italian sandwiches—the Bottega sandwich won me over: fatty prosciutto, a spicy Calabrian chili spread, slightly bitter arugula, and cooling, creamy stracciatella on schiacciata (rather than focaccia, a difference some may not notice). All the flavors and textures are strong but measured, making a balanced meal that’s meaty and cheesy without being overwhelming—hype justified, even if it might make the line worse." - Harry Cheadle
