"Soon to debut in the New Orleans Square section of the Commercial Center, Catchers Fish House bills itself as a “fish and chip foodie spot” and will also offer an expanded menu featuring “hot Nashville” chicken, tacos, and “shrimp on a stick.” Located on the southern side of the center in a ground-floor space in building D (also accessible via Karen Avenue) and joining an eclectic mix of art galleries, businesses, and retailers, the restaurant is currently hiring and promoting future hours of 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily though it has yet to announce an exact opening date. Built around a “secret family recipe” imported from San Diego, many dishes will be hand-breaded every day and cooked to order; menu hints include popcorn shrimp or chicken appetizers, shrimp served on a stick, “Gold Fish Basket” meals with fries, coleslaw, and a drink (options of red snapper, catfish, and soft shell crab), snapper or catfish added to tacos, and sandwiches such as a shrimp po’boy and a Nashville chicken sandwich delivering a spicy “heat.”" - Bradley Martin
