The boozy drive-thru chain already counts three area locations, and over the weekend welcomed its newest outpost at 5111 Washington Ave. The shop offers a dozen classic daiquiri flavors like piña colada and hurricane that customers can order in giant to-go cups or fish-bowl sized servings, plus it has another dozen alcohol-fueled options under the “mixology” category like caramel apple or peaches ‘n’ cream. The boozy candy mashups accompany a half dozen chicken-focused food items like chicken sliders, wings, and chicken strips, all served with fries. For those who are more into seafood, Candy Shack also offers fish tacos and fried catfish or shrimp baskets in its board game-centric atmosphere.
