Brown Sugar Kitchen Finally Opens New Oakland Flagship Restaurant - Eater SF
"Tanya Holland’s new flagship restaurant, Brown Sugar Kitchen, is opening at 2295 Broadway in Oakland. The new location offers 4,000 square feet with 85 seats and a large, wrap-around black bar. It features a sophisticated, grown-up version of the original restaurant with a warm color palette and familiar paneled walls. The menu includes staples like flaky biscuits, rich gumbo, cheesy grits, pulled pork sandwiches, and buttermilk fried chicken with cornmeal waffles.
