"I found a Portland outpost of Mt. Hood Brewing housed in a rail car at Tilikum Station, a Portland location of the Government Camp hangout known for hoppy beers brewed with glacial water. The transportation-themed brewpub has shiplap-esque paneling, old-school light fixtures, and cheery aquamarine touches that make it feel brighter than many lumbercore rustic breweries, and it even offers views of the trains for your inner wannabe conductor. The beers are described as “throwbacks to the early 2000s,” with darker malt characteristics and old-school Oregonian hoppiness; recommended pours include the Multoporter Smoked Porter and the Cascadian Pale Ale.
