"Known for its sports-bar–style restaurants across the country, this chain typically drives large bulk sales of chicken wings tied to major sporting events. With March Madness canceled, suppliers who would normally supply its locations (and other bars) faced a surplus of wings. The National Chicken Council estimates roughly 70% of wings are sold in bulk to be eaten in restaurants, and manufacturers are now struggling to repackage large quantities into retail-friendly family sizes.
