"Bistro 1521, a Filipino restaurant in Ballston, Arlington, has temporarily closed due to financial problems. The restaurant's landlord locked the doors after a default on the lease. The owners, Manny Tagle and Solita Wakefield, hope to rectify the situation and reopen soon. This is their second restaurant in Arlington, having previously opened and closed Bistro 7107 in Crystal City." - Alison Baitz
