Royal Britannia Gastropub Debuts at the Grand Canal Shoppes - Eater Vegas
"Sitting next door to the Italian-themed Pizzeria Pronto, sibling restaurant Royal Britannia Gastropub is now serving 'olde-world dishes with a modern twist' within its own highly decorated interior, replacing the former Tintoretto Restaurant & Bakery at the Grand Canal Shoppes. Upgrading vintage pub-style booth seating with modern TVs, USB ports, and outlets, the restaurant has added outdoor seating on the mall’s pedestrian corridor and plenty of seats at the bar, surrounded by imported British antiques and knick knacks. The Hunt Room at the rear of the space also includes a 'fauxplace' to embellish the snug pub ambiance. On the menu, the $15 Royal Britannia poutine, $18 thick cut bacon and eggs, the daily 'Royal Soup,' a $25 New England lobster roll, burgers, and entrees including fish and chips, chicken and mushroom pot pie, a $40 filet mignon, and the $49 'King Cut' Royal Britannia prime rib. Diners can also order a series of alcohol-infused milkshakes, including the $15 'Drunken Jelly,' created with Grand Marnier and topped with a jelly doughnut." - Bradley Martin
