Dupont Circle’s New Diner Rewind Will Blast Retro Pop Classics | Eater DC

"Opened July 16, this two-level throwback-themed diner in Dupont Circle (1219 Connecticut Avenue NW) has two bars, serves breakfast at night, and even touts a commitment to keeping the Backstreet Boys alive. Open daily 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., it broadcasts pop and rock music videos from the 1980s to the early 2000s on huge projectors and TVs, offers omelets and waffles (served before heading upstairs), Thanksgiving-inspired entrees year-round, and traditional bar fare like strip steak, hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, and sandwiches. Drinks include spiked milkshakes and themed craft cocktails made behind 24-foot bars.
