"Opening soon on the Plateau in the former Lili Co space at the corner of Villeneuve and St-Laurent, Snatch is a fast-food spot with an intentionally provocative name and playful tone — the owners seem to treat 'Snatch' as a noun (slang for vagina) and lean into sexualized wordplay. Its primary menu item is French tacos — cheekily referred to on Facebook as “tacos braisés à la Frenchy” — and the menu features nine variations combining beef, chicken, cheese, fries, and veggies; the tacos are wrapped in a tortilla but are a European-style hangover/drunk food import rather than Mexican cuisine. The spot will also offer burgers topped with goat or blue cheese and a few poutines. Signage continues the cheeky vibe (including a “‘Scuze my tacos” line that echoes Broad City–style humor). Expect it to open soon, operating mainly as a takeout and delivery place with a street-facing order window and plans to deliver via Uber Eats." - Tim Forster
