Founded by restaurateur Shane Nasby, previously a co-owner of Honeyfire BBQ, Cledis’ burgers range from a simple smashburger to elaborate, signature combinations like the Georgia Caprese, in which a patty is topped with fried mozzarella, basil pesto, peach preserves, and balsamic drizzle. Named after Nasby’s grandfather, Cledis, who operated a diner in Indiana during his childhood, the new Bellevue location is absolutely dripping with 80s and 90s nostalgia, from walls papered with pages from old TV Guides, Seventeen Magazines, and Karate Kid posters. It’s truly an homage to a bygone era, and a great fit for its location nestled in a Bellevue strip mall next to Sir Pizza.
