"Popular California taco restaurant The Taco Stand debuts in Wynwood today at 313 NW 25th Street, complete with a hidden omakase-style restaurant, aptly named Hiden. This marks the first East coast location for the mini-chain, which opened up its first shop in San Diego in 2013. The menu – available for sit-down meals and take-out – is the brainchild of Julian Hakim and Aram Baloyan, and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. On the menu expect dishes like tacos, burritos, quesadillas, carne asada fries, along with paletas, churros, and imported beers and Mexican sodas. The 1,700 square-foot, 45-seat restaurant features a custom mural by Cuban artist Rigo Leon, a large open kitchen that showcases the tortilla production and a traditional vertical spit roasting pork." - Olee Fowler
