"Opened October 15, the Las Vegas outpost of Plant Power Fast Food sits at 7090 W Craig Rd, Suite 120 (at the corner of Craig Road and the 95) and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.; it features a drive-thru and self-serve kiosks and occupies a purpose-built 4,039-square-foot space that will be shared with a forthcoming Bonanno’s NY Pizzeria. Founded in 2016 by Zach Vouga and Jeffrey Harris, Plant Power brings its meat-free reinterpretations of fast-food standards to Nevada, serving breakfast sandwiches and burritos, crispy “chicken” patties and nuggets, beef-like burgers including the McDonald’s-rhyming “Big Zac,” as well as wraps, fries, pies, and soy- and oat-based milkshakes. The interior is decked with full-wall windows, suspended globe lighting, and bamboo furniture for a mid-century modern feel, and the Craig Road opening marks the chain’s first location outside California as it begins national expansion (another Vegas site in Enterprise is expected later this year)." - Valerie Silva
