"A notorious dive bar at 1800 Hillhurst Ave., Los Angeles, CA, has for years operated nearly around the clock, often opening as early as 6 a.m. and closing at 2 a.m. daily—extended hours that are rare for a drinking establishment in Los Angeles County. Many nearby business owners accuse the Drawing Room of not policing its patrons, saying rowdy customers linger after closing or wait to get in early, allegedly engage in drug use and other disruptive behavior on the property, and hassle local businesses; some owners say they have asked the bar to provide security. When asked for comment, a person answering the Drawing Room’s phone declined to comment and the bar directed several outlets to its attorney, while police are currently looking for the two suspects in the May 5 attack on the laundromat owner." - Farley Elliott
