"A play-on-words tea shop in Chinatown serving the trendy cheese tea craze, operating out of 23B Tyler St. (between Beach and Kneeland). Cups are whimsically adorned with bowler hats, mustaches, and crowns, and the menu features a range of teas beneath frothy cheese — including red jade and rose pu’er — as well as cheese-free options like a fruity grapefruit high mountain tea; jasmine tea with strawberry, lemonade, and orange; and passionfruit-and-kumquat with boba. Two fruity, cheesy choices include a dragon fruit smoothie with green tea and a strawberry version, and the shop also offers milk teas and lattes with assorted boba. The concept comes from a chain that began in Guangzhou, China and now has more than 130 locations domestically plus another U.S. location in Orlando. It opens daily at 11 a.m. and stays open until about 11:30 p.m. or midnight depending on the day; while cheese tea has spread across Asia and the U.S., Boston’s scene is still fairly limited." - Dana Hatic
