"On the former site of San Pedro's Ports O' Call, I'm watching the 42-acre West Harbor development (originally to be called San Pedro Public Market) take shape; it's on track to break ground next year and open in 2022, and will offer nearly 35,000 square feet of waterfront dining, a 6,200-seat amphitheater, a dockside area for incoming cruises and water taxis, and proximity to the marine research facility AltaSea.
