"Horn Barbecue has been dark since a fire tore through its Mandela Parkway flagship in November 2023, but now the celebrated barbecue purveyor has since re-opened in downtown Oakland as of late April, sharing space with sister restaurant Matty’s Old Fashioned in Old Oakland. The staples are all still there as many Horn fans remember, with brisket, pork spare ribs, burnt ends, and more, plus some holdovers from the Matty’s Old Fashioned menu, to boot.
