Sugar Land’s First All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ Destination Arrives Next Month - Eater Houston
"Next month, diners in Sugar Land will be able to chow down on a neverending feast of meats at Breakers, the suburb’s first all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue destination. As Eater previously reported, the restaurant is set to make its debut at 16535 Southwest Freeway Suite 2605, and now we’ve got an official opening date. This is the first Houston-area location for the California-based chain, which currently operates a number of outposts in Dallas-Fort Worth, Virginia, and Georgia. According to its CEO, the restaurant is intended to offer a more upscale, “fine-dining” vibe than a traditional Korean barbecue. As far as the food is concerned, diners can choose from two different all-you-can-eat barbecue options, one of which includes additional kalbi, or marinated short rib. Beef bulgogi, teriyaki pork, spicy chicken, squid, pork belly, and scallops are also on offer, all of which are grilled right at the table. On the side, find banchan (traditional Korean side dishes) and soups like kimchi stew and naengmyeon, a chilled noodle dish. Breakers Korean BBQ opens in Sugar Land on March 8.
