"Popular chef Michael Lachowicz is offering a Thanksgiving special at his George Trois Group restaurant in suburban Winnetka. The family-style prix fixe meal, available from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., includes candied squash bisque with toasted brioche croutons and sage and angus ground beef dressing (or stuffing). Diners can choose two dishes from a selection of brown sugar-brined and roasted turkey with pan gravy, slow-cooked beef short rib and potato ravioli bordelaise, and roasted Berkshire Farms port tenderloin. Sweet treats are also available, such as a warm poached pear financier and Grand Marnier chocolate truffles. Adult meals are $59 each, and children under 12 eat for $29." - Naomi Waxman
