California’s Mendocino Farms Opens at Rice Village in July | Eater Houston

"Opening Thursday, July 18 at 11 a.m., this Rice Village outpost is the first of four planned local locations from the California-based salad-and-sandwich shop. The menu emphasizes lunch-friendly fare — Italian-style hoagie, turkey club, tuna melt and a pork belly banh mi — along with salads like an avocado-and-quinoa superfood mix and greens topped with chicken and prosciutto. Ingredients are sourced from regional farms, and meats are humanely raised and free from hormones and antibiotics.
