NC Pizzeria Is Apparently Sticking by Ryan Adams-Themed Menu in Spite of Misconduct Allegations | Eater

"This Greensboro, North Carolina pizzeria gained national attention in 2010 for naming all of its menu items after Ryan Adams songs and still lists dishes such as the “Peaceful Valley” salad, the “Easy, Tiger” soup and the “To Be the One” pizza. The naming strategy began as a salute — one former chef said the owner and original kitchen staff were big Adams fans — and the restaurant has occasionally used #ryanadams in social posts. After a New York Times report alleged abuse by Adams and news of an FBI inquiry, a longtime customer and former local resident, Erica Lane, said the continued tributes felt like an endorsement of the musician and a painful reminder given her own experience; she said she called multiple times asking management to remove the references, left contact information, and ultimately felt ignored. With radio stations and promoters pulling support for Adams and tours and releases canceled, critics argue businesses that have paid tribute should distance themselves.
