New Yorkers Are Lining Up For One Last Taste of Papaya King Before Demolition | Eater NY
"At 175 East Houston Street, at Allen Street, El Churro has opened with a window that lets onlookers watch churros being made; the shop also sells ice cream and coffee and is currently open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with plans to extend weekday hours to 10 p.m. or midnight and to stay open until midnight or 2 a.m. on weekends. The corner space had previously housed Eastanbul Gyro Kebab and Smyrna Bakery, and before that Empire Gyro." - Melissa McCart
