"After reading Vanessa Wolf's mediocre review in the Charleston City Paper, I came away thinking Cannon Green's current iteration under new chef Mike Perez (who took over after Amalia Scatena departed) feels uneven: Wolf described dishes as “awkwardly plated,” “disagreeably raw,” and “a head-scratcher,” noted that “there just isn’t much of it to go around,” and despite complaints about the price she enjoyed the raviolo. In response, the PR team told Eater that the Spring Street restaurant will be completely reconcepted later this summer with a newly designed space, new name, and new menu, and that Chef Perez and the team are working on the concept with plans to announce and relaunch early this fall." - Erin Perkins
