"A lease has been finalized for a Shake Shack at the Marin Country Mart in Larkspur, and I was told by a company representative that it should open in fall 2018; the chain released renderings of the forthcoming space, though they don’t show the burgers, shakes, and crinkle-cut fries. Founded by New York restaurateur Danny Meyer with an original location in Madison Square Park, Shake Shack has since grown to more than 160 locations worldwide and went public in 2015, but the brand has been slow to enter the Bay Area." - Caleb Pershan
