"Located in the Gaslamp, this spot stands out more for long, frequent happy hours and one of San Diego’s larger small-batch tequila and mezcal selections than for its California burrito. At about $15, the burrito is almost twice the price of others on the list yet not nearly as meaty; it arrives with guacamole (no need to ask) and is defined more by the creaminess of guacamole and sour cream than by robust carne asada. The tortilla’s exterior is significantly toasted on a flat top, giving nicely crisped sides, but the overall value for the price is lacking." - Phaedra Cook
