"A table on the terrace of Jianna is a choice spot in the heart of downtown — the balcony overlooks both Main Street and Falls Park — and chef Michael Kramer and general manager Andrea Ciavardini-Royko have a knack for making diners feel attended to. Though known for pasta dishes, Kramer employs a deft hand when preparing fish. The oyster bar was one of the first in Greenville. The wine program is interesting, deeply Italian, and thoughtfully priced. A cookbook, titled simply Jianna, is new to market and includes more than 100 of the chef’s favorite dishes, an extensive section on Italian wine and cocktails by Ciavardini-Royko, and dessert by pastry chef Alison Legg." - Stephanie Burnette
