"Construction is underway for the arrival of a London-based Japanese-Brazilian-Peruvian restaurant chain on the expansive rooftop of the La Peer Building next door to a neighboring venue at 639 North La Peer Drive. Slated to open in 2025, the West Hollywood outpost spans 17,500 square feet with a 360-degree view and a retractable roof; the brand debuted in New York in 1999 with a Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian menu, has since expanded to Dubai, Singapore, and Doha, and last had a U.S. location open in 2008 in Las Vegas. Dizon Collective is designing the West Hollywood space with terrazzo flooring, a marble bar, lush plants, and a canopy cover made from recycled materials. An open kitchen, sushi bar, and robata grill will allow diners to watch live food preparation, and the project is leaning into L.A.’s celebrity culture by offering a private dining room, private elevator, and separate entrance." - Mona Holmes
