"An LA-based bar with outposts in Austin and San Diego has opened a more-than-4,000-square-foot clubhouse in Dairy Block that showcases whiskeys from around the world along the activated alleyway. The dark, moody space—covered in taxidermy and tartan—invites guests to settle in for an evening of whiskey tasting; it currently displays just under 400 bottles with plans to expand to over 700. Start with classic cocktails such as the house Old Fashioned, Sazerac, Manhattan, or a sour, then enjoy entertainment and social spaces including pool tables, live music, cozy nooks for dates or small groups, a mahogany private party room, and an alley-facing outdoor patio. A Whiskey Society members club will launch soon, and the venue is open daily from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m." - Josie Sexton
