"Founded by Zoe Adjonyoh, Dr Anna Sulan Masing and Frankie Reddin, this food-and-media representation platform is running a ticketed online events series throughout October for Black History Month that continues its work on decolonising the food world. Building on an earlier eight-week programme, the agenda mixes panel discussions and practical sessions featuring figures across food, restaurants, media, drinks and PR who speak about both their individual experiences and the structural dynamics of power that shape their industries. The first day includes a session with drinks writer Aleesha Hansel, a masterclass led by Ronke Lawal, a cook-along with Joe Faulkner and a conversation between Melissa Thompson and one of the founders; later dates feature guests such as Stephen Satterfield, Jimi Famurewa and Yemisi Aribisala. Positioned as a global representation platform for Black and non-white people working in hospitality and food media, it aims to advance equality, equity and wealth creation through sustained action rather than one-off initiatives." - James Hansen
