"Opened yesterday by chef and reality TV star Tim Love, the new Fort Worth Italian restaurant Gemelle at 4400 White Settlement Road occupies a reconstructed bungalow along the Trinity Trails designed by Justin Seitz of Seitz Interior Design; the name means “twins” in Italian and was inspired by Love’s daughters Ella and Anna. The light-filled space seats 38 inside and about 40 on the patio and garden, which is made for a party and features bocce ball courts and backyard garden cabañas. The walk-in-only spot serves pizza, pasta and dishes such as cacio e pepe, chicken Milanese sandwiches, celery root carpaccio, and pizza topped with Italian asparagus, spring onion, goat cheese, and lemon zest, and the bar offers frozen Aperol Spritz and Bellinis. Hours are Monday–Thursday (dining room 4 p.m.–11 p.m., garden bar 4 p.m.–midnight) and Friday–Saturday (dining room 11 a.m.–11 p.m., garden bar 11 a.m.–2 a.m.)." - Adele Chapin
