"Opened by former teachers Thomas Monti and Justin Waller in Marietta, this brewery occupies the back of a Franklin Court complex in a space that used to house a bottle and home-brew shop next to a neighborhood restaurant. The taproom features 20 rotating beers on draft, crowler and growler refills, and a home-brew retail area stocked with grains, hops, yeast, and supplies; the partners embrace an “open-sourced” approach by scaling down and sharing recipes for beers guests like, while also offering tools, instruction, and ingredients so customers can recreate brews at home. Amenities include a private events room nicknamed the “Detention Room,” a dog-friendly fenced patio with games such as frisbee golf, and a playful motto—“Where Education Meets Recess.” The brewery held a grand opening celebration with food trucks and live music on Friday, May 31, and is open Wednesday–Thursday 12 p.m.–9 p.m., Friday–Saturday 12 p.m.–11 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m.–6 p.m." - Beth McKibben
