Westside Cafe Little Line Now Open in Charleston - Eater Carolinas
"Charleston residents love to complain about the lack of 'decent bagels' in the downtown area, so perhaps newcomer Little Line will fix that. Owners Wendy Wenzel Gleim and Jeff Gleim ship in bagels from legendary H&H in New York City. While the couple has extensive culinary backgrounds (they previously ran Scratch Kitchen at the Wickliffe House), the small cafe at 176 Line Street doesn’t allow space for bagel production, so why not import? Other than bagels, Little Line offers biscuits, grits, and soft scrambles. On the lunch menu, diners will find various sandwiches, salads, and fries with different sauces for dipping. The shop also offers retail items like wine, crackers, condiments, and more. Little Line is open Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Online ordering is available.
