Founders Coffee opens a second location in Henderson November 18 - Eater Vegas
"Founders Coffee expands from its southwest Las Vegas location to St. Rose Parkway in Henderson on November 18. The 2,100-square-foot location offers COVID-19-compliant seating for 45 with couches, laptop-friendly tables, white surfaces, and modern tile with a red ceiling. Coffee lovers can find Red Eye, Dark Roast Cold Brew, and Founders Blend classic flavors, along with lattes in lavender white chocolate and rose tea renditions and blended frappes such as the almond butter and jelly and matcha monster. This location, like the original, plans to feature social-distancing options including a drive-thru, takeout, spaced dine-in seating, and delivery at Saint Rose Parkway and Amigo Street. The all-day food menu offers toasts such as the avocado with sun-dried tomato, chive, and garlic aioli and deluxe lox toast with smoked lox, smoked lox cream cheese, red onion, chopped boiled egg, capers, and chives. Diners can also order sandwiches and waffles including the breakfast waffle with egg, bacon, cheese, and maple butter; quiches; and breakfast bowls including Founders’ vegan overnight oats with chia seed, coconut, coconut milk, vanilla, and blueberries. Founders also has a program dubbed the Giving Drink, where a portion of proceeds from a different coffee drink every month goes to local nonprofits. Past partners have included Baby’s Bounty, Sunrise Hospital, and Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada.
