"Located at 517 West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, I visited Taco Ranch's second location near campus, a fast-casual taco drive-thru from P. Terry’s that opened last week. The menu mirrors the original Oak Hill spot and emphasizes all-natural ingredients, reflecting co-owner Patrick Terry’s usual approach. There are simple breakfast and lunch/dinner tacos with beef, chicken, vegetable crumbles, or refried beans served crispy or soft with flour or corn tortillas, plus chalupas, tostadas, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, and taco salads. Sweets include a breakfast dessert (cinnamon roll coffee cake) and churro brownies for the rest of the day, while specialties at this MLK location include Mexican vanilla ice cream and a cinnamon milkshake. Drinks range from morning coffee, juices, limeades, and sodas to Modelo Especial beers, frozen sangria margaritas, and fresh margaritas. The space — designed by architect Michael Hsu — features a double drive-thru, walk-up service, an outdoor patio, and a dine-in area; it's open 6 a.m. to midnight on weekdays and 7 a.m. to midnight on weekends. To celebrate the second restaurant, Taco Ranch is giving away free tacos to the first 100 guests at both locations on Thursday, October 4." - Nadia Chaudhury
