"Located in the massive One Bellevue Place development, the new DeSano Pizzeria occupies roughly 4,700 square feet and includes patio seating, bringing capacity to an estimated 100 to 120 seats. The menu adheres to authentic Neapolitan technique—90-second wood-fired pizzas made following the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana guidelines—with red-sauced pies made exclusively with San Marzano tomatoes, white pizzas, and other items such as meatballs, calzones, salads and a Nutella dessert pizza. Owner Scott DeSano, who opened the Midtown location in September 2012 and has since expanded the Naples-inspired concept to Texas, North Carolina, California and airport locations, lists the Bellevue spot as open Monday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. “until the dough runs out.” The restaurant staged a one-day soft opening but later announced it was not yet ready for full service and continued training staff." - Delia Jo Ramsey
