"I'm reporting that Columbus, Ohio–based Condado Tacos will open its first Michigan outpost at 310 S Main St. in the former B Spot Burgers space in Royal Oak on Thursday, August 8. Known for a build-your-own tacos format and margaritas, the menu offers a long list of shell options—from a hard corn shell and a spicy Firecracker hard shell to a soft flour tortilla—and fillings such as tequila lime steak, house-made chorizo, scrambled eggs, BBQ pulled jackfruit, Thai chili tofu, and more, with toppings like jicama-cabbage slaw, pickled red onions, and queso; orders are placed using a scantron-like sheet. The restaurant features a full bar with eight margarita styles served by the glass and in pitchers, plus mezcal, tequila, and beer. This will be Condado's 13th outpost, with locations in Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania, and it will serve breakfast all day with hours from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m." - Brenna Houck
