"A second outpost of the boozy-slush bar is taking over a former Church’s Chicken at 19059 Marsh Lane Suite 100 (just north of the President George Bush Turnpike, bordering Carrollton), chosen for its standalone location, kitchen, and proximity to dense residential areas. The new spot will seat roughly 20 patrons between table and bar seating and — for the first time for the brand — offer a drive-thru. It will serve the same menu of 14 frozen slush flavors in multiple sizes (examples include margarita, hurricane, cotton candy, peach bellini with sparkling wine, and white russian); the “190 Octane” is the strongest at about 15% alcohol while most others are around 12%. The food program will be intentionally simple — tacos, quesadillas, and tortas with typical meat choices plus trompo and vegetarian options such as a zucchini taco with corn, onion, and potato. Renovations are underway with an intended opening in November." - Alaena Hostetter
