"Casa Guadalupe Supermarket, a local produce and meat market, is moving into the former Walgreens space at Mission Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue. Construction is underway inside the building, as the new tenant renovates to add shelving and refrigerators — while outside, a spiffy dark blue awning advertises 'productos Mexicanos, Centroamericano, y Sudamericanos; quesos de todas clases; carnes y chorizos; frescos frutas y verduras; cervezas y groceries.' Casa Guadalupe applied for a liquor license to sell beer, wine, and liquor to-go. The supermarket has two other Mission Street locations; it seems to be consolidating both at the new location." - Justine Jones
