Italian Infusion Brings Pasta and Pizza to Fashion Valley | Eater San Diego

"Opening Wednesday, November 7 at Fashion Valley Mall front and center next to Bloomingdale’s, the fifteenth North Italia is a modern Italian restaurant that's been a proven smash for Fox Restaurant Concepts. Its executive chef, Rich Sweeney — a former 'Top Chef' contestant who has cooked in San Diego for over a decade and most recently led Waypoint Public — spent six months training with the North Italia team and will oversee an exhibition kitchen serving from-scratch pasta made fresh daily, pizza, and bright, ingredient-forward takes on Italian classics. The 8,500-square-foot restaurant and bar seats nearly 300 guests and will serve lunch, happy hour, dinner, and brunch.
