"Debuting in Carmel Valley on May 29, this is the second location of The Barrel Room Wine Bar & Bistro (the flagship is in Rancho Bernardo). The 125-seat space includes a spacious patio and offers a mostly New World wine list with 40 wines available by the glass, paired with a menu that spans steak to seafood, made-to-order pizzas, fresh pasta, and cheese and charcuterie; new to this outpost is a full bar serving craft cocktails. The restaurant opens daily at 11:30 a.m., and will also serve brunch starting at 10 a.m. on Sundays.
