Get the Picnic Gear Because the World’s Largest Charcuterie Board Is About to Hit Portland | Eater Portland

"I learned that the Portland Fruit Tree Project is a local nonprofit dedicated to gleaning, or reincorporating otherwise discarded leftover fruit into goods. They're planning an enormous charcuterie board—intended to be the largest ever made—to be viewed on October 26 at the Redd on Salmon Street; the board will feature gleaned products alongside meats from purveyors including Olympia Provisions and vegan options from companies including Pan’s Mushroom Jerky. It won't qualify for a Guinness record because it will course around a showroom rather than be lined up straight, and tickets are $35 with a $100 VIP option that includes a custom charcuterie board to take home." - Paolo Bicchieri
