"A new, small restaurant in the Energy Corridor is bringing spicy, mouth‑numbing Sichuan cuisine to 13346 Briar Forest Drive. The compact dining room is decorated with traditionally styled, hand‑painted murals by Beijing‑born, Houston‑based artist Peter Wu, industrial handmade lighting fixtures, and modern wood wall panels. The menu emphasizes classic Sichuan fare—from creamy, spicy mapo tofu, cumin lamb, smoked duck and kung pao chicken to an extensive selection of cold appetizers like garlic pork belly, chili oil dumplings and Sichuan‑style rabbit—plus a number of vegan and vegetarian options. According to the restaurant’s Facebook page it opens this week (Wednesday) and will serve lunch and dinner daily from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m." - Amy McCarthy
