Baker Dude Is Open in Grant Park at the Beacon - Eater Atlanta
"Baker Dude, known around town for its cupcakes, is now open at the Beacon complex in Grant Park. The bakery owned by Orran Booher was previously located in Midtown. The shop sells cupcakes styled after those found in Europe which are less sweet and somewhat smaller in size, but very aesthetically pleasing. However, there’s more than meets the eye on the menu here. The bake shop offers flavors ranging from a zesty key lime to a gluten free and paleo cupcake made from fair trade chocolate and mint chocolate morsels. In addition to cupcakes, Baker Dude also sells freshly-baked breads and pastries. A selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes like a pesto egg wrap, meat-heavy sandwiches such as a turkey, ham, and roast beef topped with Swiss cheese, and a quiche Lorraine are on the cafe menu.
