"Gus Dean’s Ice Cream, which already has locations at the UNLV Student Union and the Meadows Mall, opens a third spot for locally owned ice cream at Pawn Plaza, the container park shopping center next to Gold & Silver Pawn Shop that appears on Pawn Stars. The ice cream shop opens on Friday with three days of free ice cream from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. The ice cream shop features classic chocolate and vanilla as well as Rebel Red with strawberry ice cream, almonds, and chocolate cookie pieces. Other flavors include fudge brownie, very cherry chocolate, mint chocolate chip, cookies and cream, butter pecan, butter almond, salted caramel, coffee, mocha, and espresso. Customers can order waffle cones, cups, shakes, or a three-scoop flight." - Susan Stapleton
