"I found the new Four Seasons Restaurant haunting — likened to a scene from The Shining when Jack Nicholson’s hotel-caretaker enters an empty ballroom to find it suddenly occupied by the ghosts of a Roaring Twenties grand soirée — and overall 'dark and sad.' I note that one of the iconic venue’s owners, Julian Niccolini, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault in 2016, the same year the original venue closed. The food remains pricey and still isn’t that good, although the classic cotton candy — reserved for celebrations and served on a silver platter — was a big hit in the evening." - Carla Vianna
