"Located in Stapleton’s Eastbridge Town Center, this 355-square-foot walk-up kiosk with five service windows serves handcrafted sorbets and playful ice cream novelties, highlighted by the flambéed “Connie Pop” baked-Alaska popsicle. Exclusive creations include Cruising Altitude (a cookie-butter base mixed with airline pretzels and peanuts), Red Eye (a vanilla-coffee base with a fudge swirl), and Turbulence (marshmallow and charcoal ice cream studded with chocolate pearl crisps), alongside chocolate airplane toppings and a variety of specialty ice cream sandwiches. The compact space was designed by the ice cream company’s team together with architects Michael Koch and Cassandra Covotsos and features a dramatic 75-foot replica of a Lockheed Constellation wing suspended over Martin Luther King Boulevard—a deliberate nod to Stapleton’s history as the site of the former international airport; the wing was built by Arizona Model Aircrafters in Ensenada, shipped to Denver in eight massive pieces, and assembled on site. Open daily: 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Friday and Saturday." - Susan Stapleton
