Banh cuon are delicate sheets of steamed rice noodles wrapped with various fillings. Order the platter with an assortment of rice sheets with scrambled egg, ground pork and mushroom, served with crispy egg rolls, mung bean shrimp bread, a bologna-like slice of ham, tofu, vegetables, and fried shallots. It’s the best way to experience a little bit of everything. The most popular rolls are the bánh cuốn thịt nướng stuffed with grilled pork marinated in a lemongrass-soy sauce and green vegetables.
