"Opening Monday, June 10 at 9150 Warren Parkway in Frisco, this 87-seat outpost brings a Bay Area cult favorite to Texas, following its 2017 Japantown debut and expansion to the East Bay and earning a spot on Eater SF’s Essential Ramen list. The shop specializes in time-intensive Hakata-style tonkotsu pork broth, serves pork, chicken, and vegetable bowls delivered in two to three minutes, and features toppings such as braised pork belly, bamboo shoots, nori, kikurage mushrooms, and fish powder. It is also known for a limited daily run of popular chicken paitan bowls, plus izakaya-style starters like karaage and takoyaki and a drink list of sake, shochu, and Japanese beers. The North Texas menu will closely mirror the originals with plans to add “a touch of Texas” later; hours are Sunday–Thursday 11 a.m.–10 p.m. and Friday–Saturday 11 a.m.–11 p.m." - Tierney Plumb
