National City’s Market on 8th Pivots to Mexican Food | Eater San Diego

"Three years after opening in the South Bay, I found Market on the 8th in the midst of a revamp that will shift the 9,000-square-foot food hall’s culinary direction. When it opened in October 2021 the market’s roster included Indonesian and Filipino vendors and offerings from established chefs like Phillip Esteban (White Rice), but the new operator is gearing up to unveil a new lineup mostly focused on Mexican cuisine; only Donburi Rice Bowls and Ping Yang Thai will remain from the original group.
